The Journey

As a young independent girl getting a job abroad is a considered as a blessed especially when your parent aren't rich enough to pay your vacation to other country and  not to mention the kind of job that most girls dream about, so i considered my self lucky !! Left Jakarta on 2002 to work for a completely different field of business in the country that has a major different than my own was such a big step for me. Being able to see the world and explored it persona was another reason why without thinking twice i grabbed this chances. The very best thing was i don't even have to pay a dime and on the contrary i even got paid !!! how fabulous is that ??

Jordan was the destination, the city of Amman was my second city to work and to live for couple of years before i finally met my now husband. This tiny 2,8 million of the country population was becoming my second home for 4years, i got to experienced lots of different culture and mentality from living in this country. First year i arrived, the city doesn't even have Carefour or Starbucks yet (two major brands one city should have as my opinion). A complete whole new  world for me in term of buildings, language, foods, and infra structure. The job i work for was also giving me the chances to learned about other cultures, local gestures, peoples habit etc .... and me as the young girls whose determination is conquering the world, was so thrilled for what i discovered back then.

Learning to live independently away from my comfort zone, leaving behind my family and friends wasn't easy for me either in the first year of my transition till one day i finally got use to it, wondering my self  'that here I'm reaching my dream and would i live my life under hesitation and for whatever holding me back??' hell no ... I live, I learned, and I make it !! I'm pretty much happy for what i achieved in my earliest days though, with this now i can tell the world about my journey on exploring the globe since not so many peoples been lucky like me... So Amman .... we're moving on ....

Missing NYC

As one of my fave city in the world, New York City has left alot of outrageous memory on me .... 'The city that never sleep really  proves one of my sleepless night during my visit there couple of years ago worth it,forget jet leg !! It's indeed sleepless city ...

Born & raised in the city of Jakarta transformed me into an independent city girl kind of type. Giving me the ability to befriend with the traffic, the crowd, the un smilled peoples, and their ignorance. Not that i love those stereotype but simply because i used to it ...that's why from the very first time i step my feet on New York city i felt like ... Praised the Lord!! this is me,i feel like being reborn !! imagine how crazy the impact of the city gives you int he matter of second ...

The city has everything that one city should have, it even have it own songs dedicated for this brilliantly magnificent city ( they should consider it as their city anthem #justsaying ). I remember spending most of my time exploring the city by foot, either strolling through their famous extravagant shopping street of 'Times Square', jogging on the largest public park which is Central Park which located in the middle of Manhattan or just grab a seat near by the city most  famous landmark the Rockefeller Centre watching tourist passed by or those amazing ice skater during a winter seasons.

Not to mention the famous 'Sex and The City' TV series that makes the city even worth to visit and if you have some extra $$$ to spend on fabulous shoes, bags or clothing like them you can go crazy here .. not me though !! I'm more to explored the beautiful artistic landmark they have there, experienced the under ground train, short cruised to see statue of Liberty on the Ellis island, ground zero (former WTC) or okay short visit to dollar shop ha !!

Really do missed those few things I've done there .... still wishing someday i could get the chances to re do everything again but off course with my daughter on my side this time.

Wanna drive ??

Interesting rather dangers experience to do in Bali for most non local community or tourist in specific !! Jungle rule applies like 'as long as you don't hit nor got hit by something' then you're good to go ... safety is rather buy-able at the many mini mart around the island or in other words peoples here thought they're indeed own 9lives !!!
The horrific view of 1family with 4members (minimum) riding together in 1 scooter with barely anything to keep their life worth saving is quite a common sight. As peoples who's been living in Europe nor any other developed country, will often hold our breath and cursing to those ignorance with no self respect whatsoever kind of attitude on the streets. Wondering if you as the father letting your 3years old kid sitting alone on your back while you riding on scooter wearing nothing on their head hoping they hold on really tight on you, is a responsible act stating your love towards your kids ?? Does it always cross their mind about ... WHAT IF ?? Nope i don't think that how their mind works !!

Other thing .... letting your under age kids driving their own scooter to go to school everyday without any safety requirement like wearing a helmet or wind proof jacket is other story. Self disciplined-proper education along with driving manner aren't the things that they learn from school, those are the very crucial things that most parents ignored or rather take it for granted. Those kids are only know how to drive the vehicle without knowing the rules and the safety on how to drive properly. So when you have your vacation on the island and happen to see those view, please do understand that the local government has nothing to do to work on that matter, and  for them getting a ticket from the police are very unlikely unless you're tourist riding a scooter here then the police might stop you to check your proper documents.Tragic ?? think again to drive here .... hire a driver that knows how to   play with the system here.

Dreaming about Loubutin

Tell me one girl who doesn't love shoes ?? even my 5years old daughter showing the sign of her love towards these foot accessories. And me as a woman whose life being so obsessed with these beauty, proclaimed my self that i cant leave without a good sexy paired of Shoes !!

Dreaming about owning a pair of those 'must have' killer shoes becoming my apparent hobby lately ... Since a very good sexy stylish shoes could cost arms & legs which get me thinking a million times to purchased them. Therefore dreaming would cost me nothing so what i would do in my daily basis is day dreaming of having them, who knows ??

Shoes are the ultimate accessories for woman no matter how rich & poor they are, healthy nor sick, and even a very busy business woman to party goer to a model to a socialite even a stay home mother !! Every woman need shoes to boosted their confident to makes them feel a thousand times better. Some went shoes shopping when they're broken hearted, divorce, or even before they decided to kill them self (by seeing their balance on their bank account).

Every Shoe Tells a Story

Baby booties to orthopedic sandals, we spend most of our waking lives in shoes, and from them we may learn something about our culture, our history, and ourselves ~
